▞▚ Garbly’s design encourages human-only messaging — operating at a pace that is perfect for the speed that humans work at but aims to significantly raise the barrier for large-scale, high-speed message processing

▞▚ Anyone can ungarble any garbled message anonymously and for free — message garbling is unrestricted, ungarbling is restricted to one every 20 seconds

▞▚ Garbly is entirely open and free, we use normal encryption techniques — but our encryption keys and word and image mapping algorithms are proprietary IP protected under copyright law around the world. All attempts to reverse engineer or hack our platform, service or binaries is considered an attempt to breech our copyright and can therefore be prosecuted under law such as the DMCA in the U.S.

Garbly runs as a small, self-contained command line utility — no installer, no dependencies, no telemetry
